Basics of Pranayama Workshop
Pranayamas are breathing exercises developed by the ancient yogis for purification. ‘Prana’ translates into “life force or vital energy” and ‘Ayama' translates into “control or expansion” Thus, Pranyama is used to control, cultivate, and modify the Prana in the body. Prana is taken in through the air we breathe, and since the pranayama exercises increase the amount of air we take in, they also increase our intake of Prana.
This workshop will be teaching you the fundamental knowledge about the respiratory system, how to use the maximum capacity of the respiratory tract, different types of pranayama and practice. It will be a suitable workshop for the practitioner to initiate themselves into the deeper understanding about pranayama and it’s benefits.
