"All this world is the syllable AUM. Its further explanation is this: the past, the present, the future everything is just AUM. And whatever transcends the three divisions of time, that too is just AUM."
"This Atman is to be identified with AUM, when AUM is considered as a single syllable. when AUM is considered as composed of parts, the quarters of the Atman are to be identified with the parts and the parts with the quarters. the parts of AUM are A, U and M.
The syllable AUM in its partless (soundless) aspect is the fourth. It is (a) transcendental (b) devoid of phenomenal existence (c) supreme bliss and (d) non dual. Thus the syllable AUM is varily the Self-Atman. He who knows this merges his self in the self.
The fourth Turiya, the wise says, is not inwardly congnitive nor outwardly cognitive nor cognitative bothwise, neither is it an indefinite mass of cognition nor collective cognition nor non-cognition. it is unseen, unrelated, inconceivable, uninferable, unimaginable, indescribable. it is the essence of one self-cognition common to all states of consciousness. All phenomena cease in it. It is peace, it is blisss, it is non-duality. This is the self, and it is to be realized.
AUM = BRAHMAN, UNIVERSAL SOUL!
